IMAGINE-B5G project has contributed significantly to organizations such as 3GPP, O-RAN, and ETSI. With 27 contributions so far ( See Figure 1), the consortium’s standardization plan remains on track. The impacted standards subjects are diverse and serve the verticals innovation requirements for future networks.
For example embracing CAPIF in 3GPP helps V2X Service provider application (API Invoker) to leverage CAPIF capabilities and support consumption of Service APIs from multiple AEFs (SCEF+NEF, BM-SC). In addition, IMAGINE-B5G contributes to ETSI research ecosystem for both OpenCAPIF and OSL pushing its impact to global scale.
