ADAPT-G’s Demo at Port of Valencia

The ADAPT-G, one of IMAGINE-B5G Open Call 1 projects from the Spanish Facility, tested its demo at the Port of Valencia to develop an advanced and integrated surveillance system that enables real-time monitoring of port accesses, restricted areas, and potential security threats. This demo holds significant promise in enhancing port security, streamlining access monitoring, and optimising operational efficiency at the esteemed Port of Valencia. The project is working towards revolutionising port surveillance by integrating drones, augmented reality (AR) devices, and 5G communications.

The demo of this project was designed to deploy a system to bolster security within the port by integrating drones equipped with artificial intelligence to identify threats at the Port of Valencia.

To create the demo, the members of the ADAPT-G project,  XR-Factory and ETRAIR, conducted thorough testing of the developments, taking advantage of the opportunity to capture numerous video samples to refine the image recognition algorithms further, enhancing threat recognition capabilities for the upcoming trials.
