On 25 September 2025, IMAGINE-B5G hosted the second edition of its webinar series, āScaling Innovation: Projects from IMAGINE-B5G Open Call #1ā. The event brought together participants from across Europe to explore how 5G and B5G technologies are being applied to address real-world challenges across multiple verticals.
The session featured projects selected through the second IMAGINE-B5G Open Call, led by startups, SMEs, large companies, and researchers. These teams had the opportunity to test, validate, and refine their solutions within IMAGINE-B5Gās pan-European infrastructure, spanning four state-of-the-art experimental facilities.
From media and public safety to logistics and manufacturing, the showcased projects reflected the growing diversity of 5G use cases and the value of open experimentation.
15 projects were featured during the webinar, each presenting their approach, technical developments, and results:
- Norwegian Facility: 5G-SEDAR, FUSION, SIMONE
- Spanish Facility: 5G-VirtuFix, FI-Veg, OpenInfra, RESCUE-5G, VM4ACADEMIA
- Portuguese Facility: CHHA, CogNetCare, N-TourXP-5G, OPTIMITER, Project CRITICAL
- French Facility:Ā FIRESCAN, FOR-5G
Attendees gained valuable insights into the technical achievements, lessons learned, and broader impact of the experiments supported by IMAGINE-B5G.
